mitochondial DNA is different from nuclear DNA as it resembles prokaryotic DNA. A represents RER with is lamellar network, B and C are part of the nucleus, and E is very dense. D is the only structure that can correspond to mitochondria. =======> mitrochondrial DNA is derived completely from the mother and is the msot common non-nuclear DNA found in nuclear cells
