IVC by CT

the structure is located on the right and is filled with some contrast, which indicates in has blood in it, this can either be the aorta of the IVC, but the structure to the left of the labeled vessel has two takeoff vessels, which are likely the renal arteries; thus this is the IVC, which is formed by the union of the two common iliac arteries =======> the IVC is formed from the union of the common iliac veins at the level of L4-L5
