lactic acid levels increase with increase glucose levels (due to increase glycolysis). Figure out which amino acid cannot be transformed into glycolysis substrates =======> lysine and leucine are exclusively ketogenic amino acids and would not increase the blood lactate level in patients suffering from pyruvate dehydrogenase deficiency
